Our Mission

Our goal is to provide a top notch AAA program to our girls with an all female coaching staff.

We are here to help them succeed both on and off the ice, while pushing them to their limits that they did not know they could achieve.

First and foremost our priority is to provide a FUN environment for the girls, while working on the skills to be successful.

Its not all about winning it is about giving the girls confidence in themselves that they can take with them off the ice to help them succeed at anything they do.

Coaching Staff

Abby Laporte - Owner and Head Coach

I am a 22 year old that started ALSS Elite hockey in 2020 so that I could give back to the younger generation and provide them with an all female coaching staff, something that I never had. I have played competitive hockey for 7 years. Starting at the C level and working up to AA, I had the privilege of playing with amazing teams throughout my career and still look back on the many memories of the friendships that came from those years. I was lucky enough to attend the Ontario Provincial Championships a number of times and in 2017 my team won Gold, it was an amazing experience and I want to take all of the skills and knowledge that I have acquired and pass it along to the next generation.

Unfortunately our inaugural year saw a global pandemic so we did not get as much ice time as we had wanted but we spent the season, doing Zoom meetings, Kahoots and engaging the girls and letting them get to know each other. When we did make it on the ice and were able to, in a small way we start moving the girls forward in achieving success on and off the ice.

I hope to take the skills that I have learned and continue to learn and help create a top notch AAA team but most importantly a group of confident and successful girls.

After coaching in Ottawa,ON since the age of 14, I relocated to Calgary,AB for the 2022-2023 season to be an assistant coach for the Edge School U18AAA Female Prep Team! For the 2023-2024 season, I am back home in Ottawa coaching at the U15 and U18 levels!
